St. John Ambulance starts mental health first aid course in Nova Scotia

When people see someone get hurt, the first instinct is usually to stop, call 911, maybe look for bleeding. But what if the problem seems to be psychological? “Someone gets hit by a car, everyone stops and helps,” says Laurel Haché. “Someone looks odd on the street, everyone walks away.”
