“People don’t know what mental illness is, they don’t realize it’s a brain disorder,” says Peggy Loveless. “We get sick from here down and that’s okay, but getting sick from here up is not okay. And that’s the point of this class, to understand what is going on in the brain. That it’s a brain disorder.”
