Thank You!

Thank you for your interest in offering a fully-funded Youth MHFA course to your team.

These funded trainings are available to community organizations that interact with youth, especially BIPOC youth who identify as male.

By taking a funded Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training through our Team: Changing Minds partnership, you can learn how to identify, understand and respond to early signs that a young person may be facing a mental health or substance use challenge.

The training covers:

  • Common signs and symptoms of mental health challenges in this age group, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders and attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD).
  • How to interact with a child or adolescent in crisis.
  • How to connect youth with help.
  • Trauma, substance use, self-care and the impact of social media and bullying.
